Why not have them enter the park and use the campers boat launch which is barely used? Supposedly swimming is not allowed but I see people in the water all over the place these days. If they must, then Round Valley desperately needs to accommodate all of these people in some other way. Is it customary to have an independent business owner operating this in a state park? (In other words - what a gig, who does this guy know?) There is actually someone there renting kayaks and paddle boards this year which I have never seen before, as if it isn't too crowded already. Now the addition of paddle boarding and we have all the paddle boarders. When trying to launch your boat, you get all the kayakers in your way paddling behind your boat since they seem to not want to leave the boat launch area. The kayakers jam up the boat launch ramp and its nearly impossible to launch your boat. These days it has become completely overrun by kayaks to the point that it's more annoying than enjoyable. We have lived here our whole lives and used to love boating on Round Valley. I wish they would follow the buddy check at the beach it definitely works!! Good job! Other than that my first time there I really enjoyed it. Yes, you might say well we are in America we should all speak the language well, they don’t ! So if you want all those people to follow rules have someone that speak the language speak on that microphone. Having a little signage behind the lifeguard chair doesn’t make a difference. We are nestled right outside Broken Bow, Nebraska. And most importantly if you haven’t notice the park is used by 90% of non English speakers so you repetitive loud messages over the microphone should also be in Spanish. Round Valley Farmhouse is the perfect country getaway. Life guards are always aware of what’s going on but they need to speak up! If you are patrolling in the water and you see someone not following the rules you should say something not wait until the lifeguards sitting down on the high chair to use the microphone. First of all the place is super nice! The lake, the green areas, the food court and the so, so, clean bathrooms.
